BY CAR

Via Santa Maria Maggiore is located in Bologna's old town. You are not allowed to enter the old town by car between 7:00 am and 8:00 pm (except on Saturday) unless you have a pass. It is possible to buy a daily pass (5 Euros) or a four-days pass (12 Euros).

WALKING

(from Piazza Maggiore)
. CSAEO is about 10 minutes from Piazza Maggiore, the central square of Bologna. Take via Ugo Bassi and walk 200 metres until you arrive at an intersection with traffic lights; then turn right (via Nazario Sauro) and walk 200 metres, until you see another intersection with traffic lights: the street on your right hand, before the traffic lights, is via Santa Maria Maggiore.

(from Railway Station). CSAEO is 10-15 minutes from the Railway Station. Walk out the station and turn left. At Piazza di Porta Galliera (a large square with an arch), turn right and take via Galliera: walk 300 metres and, when you see a church on your right hand, turn right (via de' Preti). After 100 metres via de' Preti changes its name and becomes via Santa Maria Maggiore.

TAXI. There are two main companies: COTABO 051/372727 and CAT 051/4590

FROM THE AIRPORT. Airport "G. Marconi" - Bologna (Tel. 051/647.915).
There is a shuttle bus from the airport, directed to the Railway Station (about 20 minutes). You can buy your ticket on the bus (6 Euros).
